Some of our students are great lego fans! They started the year with an unusual English class, excited to take on the challenge to #BuildforChange with their Lego...
They were so happy to receive their official certificates of recognition after proudly sharing their work with the LEGO community....
Guillem told us that his machine "is a hoop that when you get the shoot right the machine will take carbon dioxide and it will transform it to oxygen."
Marc said "This lego is about two forests, one of them has many beautiful trees but the other one doesen't have any trees. The message of this lego is that we have to greatly reduce deforestation and plant more trees than we are planting now."
Joel said that when you put 1-10amps into this machine that is an electro-multiplier, it doubles the original amount of energy...
Pia said her "high speed train has dandelions, on most of the surface of the train, that spread dandelion seeds, which have health benefits for humans and animals. The whole plant is full of minerals and vitamins.
It promotes biodiversity too, because when they spread seeds, when they land on the ground, another dandelion can grow.
It can help balance the effects of climate change, too, because lots of plants can't survive excess carbon dioxide, but the dandelion is an exception."
Marti invented The Eco-Roomba "made to Clean the floor with Brushes and Vacum Cleaners connected to Eco-Bags, This roomba doesn't need any external energy because it use Solar panels."
Pol invented a special plane and explained that, "when a person gets onto it, launches a seed, to plant trees and plants, so there will be more nature."
