Key vocabulary for today's lesson was: threatened, endangered, poached, slaughtered, loss, risk, remain, biodiversity, risk, truth, power, change.... the students were shocked at the figures in the video relating to disappearing species and asked how and why questions that provoked interesting discussion. They also learnt that they have the power as individuals and/or together to take action to help the wildlife.
Following the short film, here you can see us playing card games related to the theme, practising our speaking skills while we give clues as to which animal we are looking for to complete our pairs/sets.
