Today we learnt who Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks were....
and found out the answers to our questions like: What is a boycott? What is an activist? What is segregation? and here is the new vocabulary we needed to learn in order to understand the video: forced, unfair, allowed, laws, changes, refuse, disobey, jail, to be arrested, marches, speeches, equal rights
The students found it hard to believe how life was when Martin Luther King was a child and went home to explain everything they had learnt to their families...
