Today we took our book 'The Gruffalo' (by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler) into the woods... The mouse, the owl, the fox, the snake and the Gruffalo came too! We went on a scavenger hunt to collect items from the forest floor of different textures, shapes, flexibility and colours. After putting each stage of the story in order, in groups we made a beautiful art gallery to represent each stage and then we told the story...
