This is a cross-curricular, CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) project for young English language learners that educates for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship and supports the 17 UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL GOALS. I created the Cocoa Crimebusters project  as a non-profit initiative, offering inclusive and equitable quality education that promotes empathy and collaboration across cultures through digital intercultural exchange. ´COCOA CRIMEBUSTERS' is a collaborative group of participating youths (aged 13-17 years) from THE GLOBAL CITIZENS ENGLISH PROJECT's ACTION TEAM, of Barcelona, Spain and the NGO (non-governmental organisation) EDUCATION AND ENGLISH FOR YOU of Abidjan, The Ivory Coast. We are proud to have been officially recognised by the JANE GOODALL INSTITUTE and welcomed to join the 'ROOTS n SHOOTS' YOUTH PROGRAM. The project promises to be a fun and educational, cultural exchange experience, with a special focus on raising awareness of the social, environmental and economic issues of cocoa production in the world's largest cocoa producing country, the Ivory Coast. It will help students recognise the impact their daily choices have on people, animals and the environment at local and global levels, encourage them to explore solutions and use their power to take action as individuals and/or collectively to make the world a better place.
As part of the Goals Project, in 2023, Sofia created a fundraiser to help our African friends participate in more global collaboration projects with other children around the world....
